My fae sister, Dyisi Oppewall, and I are happy to present to you our first collaboration, the "Gingerbread Coffin" set. All gingerbread, candy canes and icing, this darling little dress with striped stockings and matching coffin add a slightly macabre twist to an otherwise sweet and cheerful winter.

We had the idea for this set based on the song "Gingerbread Coffin" by Rasputina, a band we have both always loved. It being a rather creepy song about the dark imaginations of young girls, we were surprised at how "sugar, spice and everything nice" the finished set turned out! It's adorable.

I was making another dress when I realized that my textures were taking on a rather leafy appearance. I uploaded it into SL and kept tweaking from there. In a way, Thumbelina was completely unplanned, but suuuuch a magnificent accident! It's become a must-have, especially with so many styling options and uses.

This fantasy formalwear piece includes wings and FIVE skirt options! The sculpted flower garters are new as well, available separately.

Small AV? This dress is resize scripted and it can go down to very small avatar sizes, such as a child-sized fairy AV. Enjoy!

Tribal Fusion Belly Dancer

An edgy belly-dance outfit for the bohemian, industrial enthusiast, or fantasy RPer. The trailing fringe on the belt makes these ensembles look gorgeous with dances from Sine Wave (Purple Whirlpool is a keeper).

The prims are scripted for easy menu-driven resizing (a couple of clicks and that's it).

Inspiration: Tribal Fusion is a contemporary American derivative of American Tribal Style, which is a derivative in turn of Cabaret Belly Dance. It fuses diverse styles like Flamenco and Hip-Hop into its repertoire, and still achieves a serpentine, precise aesthetic. But mostly, the clothes are bad-ass.

Charm EGL Fantasy Dress with Lingerie

I spent so much time trying to perfect this. I think you'll find that the overall effect is pretty stunning. The skirt moves in a really floaty way and the petticoats never bleed through. The fabric texture is sort of iridescent and has a level of detail that makes it look sparkly in some lighting.

The skirt has a prim ruffle on top and petticoat built in, so it's just one easy attachment! That ruffle also makes the skirt nice and separate from any top, so you can match it with other things. The waist cincher is separate on the jacket layer. The shirt comes in sleeved or sleeveless versions. Prim ruffles adorn the bustline and the bottom hem of the shorts for an awesome three-dimensional detail. The stockings are on the socks layer.

I think this is so pretty. My new dress, "Sprite," would be so cute on a fairy. I'm very happy with the way it came out. The little bows and gauzy fabric are all joined to the skirt so you don't have to fumble with lots of attachments.

"Revolution" Steampunk Victorian gown

My first steampunk item is this very intense and wonderful gown with all the works. Covered in lace and hardware, and a leather belt with buckled pouches.

You can wear the collar several ways: Solo, or with a scarf tucked in, or with goggles around your neck. A separate set of the goggles will go over your eyes. The jacket is fabulously strapped and buckled, and if you remove it you can rock the Victorian gown underneath solo (or the jacket solo for the daring). The top hats were just finished and will be available separately. In all this set includes about 15 items. I really hope you like it. :)

Such a pretty gown for a dark fairy tale. The fabric is irridiscent and multifaceted, like shells or metal. The flexi sleeves and flexi bustle are made of whirls of ornate black lace.

I've just released my new mix-and-match gypsies line! This way you can get any color combination, length, sleeve style, skirt style, etc., you want.

Step 1. Choose a chemise...

Step 2. Add an optional extension pack, especially if you'd like a longer skirt...

Step 3. Choose an overdress color...

Then customize, mix and match to your heart's content!

Folklore Dirndl

Oh how I love fairy tales and folklore, as if no one had already guessed! The fantastical and dreamy, the traditional and moralistic, the allegory of virtue, innocence, darkness or depravity ...

And duh, the clothes!

I present to you: the Dirndl. The style of dress loved by women for its merger of the traditional girl-next-door and the tempting but-oh-I'm-not-really-trying-to-tempt-you vixen, and loved by men for the unabashed decolletage and sense of festivity. In other words, cleavage and beer. Just go to Oktoberfest or look at any advert for St. Pauli ale.

But for me, Bavarian ensembles conjure the very spirit of Brother's Grimm stories and their classic germanic illustrations. I love the dirndl as a darling icon of a fascinating, tantalizing and uncertain world in the mythic dreamscape of fairy tales and folklore.

In fact I've already made a mini-dirndl before, but it's being taken off the virtual shelves as it was one of my first projects and in my opinion not up to par with my newest work.

The Folklore Dirndl, however, I'm thrilled about from the texturing to the prims. Each dress, aside from the varied color combinations, also has its own embroidery pattern unique from the others. There are two sleeve options (three if you count sleeveless): on or off the shoulder.

Purity Circlet

These intricate circlets are each adorned with four scripted gemstones and spindly metalwork in an elegant V-shape on the forehead to bring out your eyes and complete your fantasy look. The stones are scripted to listen to chat commands to change colors, making it much easier to match to any outfit on demand.

Dragonfly

Another gown that I spent a lot of time on (I always keep working on my creations until I feel there's nothing left to improve). This is the Dragonfly Gown. No, those aren't dragonflies in the brocade but butterflies -- This is actually named for a good friend of mine.

I love the delicate pink ribbons that lace up the corset and the sleeves, each finished with flexi ribbons. The skirt is fuller than my others, in more of a ballgown shape, with an optional bustle that attaches over it for added daintyness. This is my new favorite, so I hope it's well-received.

Luminary

Luminary is a celestial goddess or perhaps a fae of starlight. The picture does not do the shimmering, detailed textures of the dress justice, so I may well end up photographing it again in better light. This also includes a high jeweled crown, a glowing scepter, grecian wrap sandals, a detailed necklace with a built-in spotlight, and flexi skirts in two lengths.

Forest Princess

I wanted to change things up and make a feminine something with clean lines and light fabric, hence the slim sleeves, empire waist and gauzy folds of Forest Princess. It has a detailed sleeve texture with gold toggle buttons that extends into the gloves layer and nearly reaches the thumbs for a classic medieval styling. I'm also really happy with the texturing of the corset-style lacing on the back, which I finished off with a delicate flexi prim bow. I think it would look lovely on any lady or elf on a walk through the woods. 399L.

Velveteen Ribbons

I've always adored Gothic & Lolita (EGL) fashion with its Victorian and Rococo influences and dolly-dress shapes, so after considering it for a long time I finally felt my skill was up to par enough to branch out into the genre. Velveteen Ribbons took some time to make, getting the textures perfect, matching the skirt seams to the bodice, making sure it moves well, etc, and I'm so happy with the result and really think I accomplished what I was going for.

Prims include the puffed sleeves, sleeve cuffs with flexi bows, the lace-trimmed peter-pan collar, the flexi bow in the back, and lace & ribbon tops for the socks. One of my favorite creations yet, just 550L. :)

The Fairest Maiden

I spent a lot of time perfecting this one and I'm just in *love* with it.

The Fairest Maiden doubles as a gown and a lovely white chemise -- just add or remove the overdress as you like. It features puffed and belled flexi sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, corset-lacing up the bodice, and lace insets on the overdress.

The highly detailed hair wreath is also available.

Circlets

Circlet of the High Priestess has gemstones that change colors with chat commands and on/off commands for a very subtle and infrequent bling. See those little tassles from the lower hoop? Those are flexi. Even though I named it High Priestess, it kinda reminds me of a Valkyrie.

The Trinity Circlet is in silver Celtic knotwork with a color-change jewel. It's also available in gold or in silver with no gemstone at all.

Soprano Gown

The Soprano gown was inspired by illustrations of princesses in Brother's Grimm fairy tales by Arthur Rackham. I updated the original with cleaner flexi sleeves and, thanks to several requests, made it in two new colors: white and gold. If you want another variation on this theme, try the Alexandria gown in pink.

Water Fae

This is my second fae, a complete outfit with wings and effects (no skin/hair included). I'm so much happier with these wings. First I drew them on paper before scanning and painting them in photoshop. I divided them into three flexi panels per wing so they would have lots of movement.

To add some jazz to the silks set I made these little water droplets as prim attachments to go over them, though they came out like pearls. They have a subtle, shimmery bling (not the blinding sort) that can be turned on and off.

There's also undergarment layers with a "bubble" look on them to add some drama to whatever skin you wear with it. You can tint them darker if needed, too.

The wand has a couple of effects -- it emits bubbles on command and whenever someone touches it, it makes bubbling noises. Heh.

Glade Nymph

Hooray, my new Wishbox blog is up (note that it's wispjinn.blogspot.com), so I'm going to start by posting a few of my favorite creations until I feel sufficiently up to date.

This is "Glade Nymph" in sky blue, a fae outfit that comes with the handpainted wings, flower clothing layers, flexi-vines belt, hairclip and a prim flower garter I was pretty much pulling my hair out trying to make *laughs*. All the prim flowers were made to match the ones in the texture, and although they look a bit washed out in the lighting here, they typically match the colors very well. These were the first wings I ever made, and they aren't flexi (yet?). It's also available in blush pink in my store.
